Cherishing Time

Walking along the road of my past is painful, I have been through so many trials. I refuse to let it define who I am and who I will be, I am going to tell you today that I am going to give all the glory and thank GOD  for the life that I have lived. It has not been a very great one, I have been in many abusive relationships all through out my life but I thank God for giving me the opportunity to live and reflect back on those times as well as who I was and who I am today. I also thank him for letting me go through all of it, all of my life's trials even the ones I am going through today because it has made such a better person and given me a stronger relationship with MY SAVIOR, MY KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR. He has laid down his own sons life so that I and you can have a better one and I am so grateful for his sacrifice, WE ALL would be Damned to Hell if not was for his OWN sons death. When looking into that light I want you to realize that the things we go through on a daily basis, God is right there with us, waiting for us to fall into his grace. When we fail to our own salvation  that is when we will be saved by his alone. When going through the horrific moments in life I look to the ONE who can pull me through it because he put that moment there for A REASON. He gave you life NOT for you to die, but to live and to live with him. So in my life, I am not only trying to change my eating habits but to also live closer with God and His peaceful, fulfilling and joyous love. With Him, in all things, we are all successful; maybe not by our meaning or that we can see but he knows that down the road he will be able to use our experiences to save another soul from being exposed to that circumstance.
I have, for so long, let my past take over my heart and my thoughts and they destroyed me. Hand in hand with God he gave me the strength and grace to relinquish my failures and insecurities to grow with him into who I am today and will be tomorrow.

I am reading in my devotions and this has truly been a blessing to me today and I am sure if you are reading this post, it will be to you as well.
In Sarah Young's, Jesus Calling, Devotional it states
" Try to view each day as an adventure, carefully planned by your guide. Instead of staring into the day ahead of you, attempting to program it according to your will, be attentive to me and to all I have prepared for you. Thank me for this day of life, recognizing that it is precious, unrepeatable gift. Trust that I am with you each moment, whether you sense my presence or not. A thankful, trusting attitude helps you see events in your life from my perspective
A life lived close to me will NEVER be dull or predictable. Expect each day to contain surprises! Resist your tendency to search for the easiest route through the day. Be willing to to follow wherever I lead. No matter how steep or treacherous the path before you, the safest place to be is BY MY SIDE"

SO true, So live your day in Gods path because it is safest and HIS will.

I posted this because in order for me to succeed in anything I do, I need My Lords help. So if you are following me and my accomplishments, I felt that this was a good reminder that we need to keep going strong because life can be so hard sometimes and we can so easily get off track and on the wrong path and we need to always remember that God is our foundation and he wants us to be successful. So thrive in his grace ALONE.

Stay strong
You'll get there
